Claude wrote crash-freedom proofs for 123 open-source libraries
24 October 2026
Anthropic and Theorem had Claude prove that 239 fuzz-test entry points across 123 OSS-Fuzz libraries can't crash on inputs under 64 MB, fixing bugs found along the way. Anthropic stresses 'verified' does not mean bug-free, but the cost of formal proofs is falling fast, and Theorem offers the pipeline to open-source projects.
